Transparent LED displays put bright moving content on shop windows, glass facades and showroom walls while people can still see through the screen. The panels are light, mount close to the glass and keep daylight coming in.

A transparent panel keeps the horizontal pitch and skips every second row of LEDs, so light passes through the gaps. P3.91 × 7.81 is the most popular model.

Which transparent LED models are most common?
P3.91 x 7.81, P2.976 x 5.95 and P2.6 x 5.2. The first number is the horizontal pixel pitch; vertically every second row of LEDs is left out so light passes through the gaps.
How transparent is the display?
About 50% for P2.6 x 5.2 and P2.976 x 5.95, and 60% or more for P3.91 x 7.81.
Is it bright enough for a shop window?
Yes. Brightness is 3500 to 4500 cd/m2, so content stays visible behind glass in daylight.
What do you need for a glass facade project?
